This individual is a key enabler of continuous improvement by providing services such as IT and financial procedure and control documentations and assessments, process improvement, financial transformation, and policy and procedure design and optimization. The scope includes global business applications across Donaldson.Principal Accountabilities:Continuous Improvement –Collaborative across business process owners to streamline existing processes and help implement new business requirementsActive leader in the implementation of process improvements, such as ERP system changesEnsures proper data governance for business activities and proper alignment with data standardsControls –Ensure compliance with the financial control framework and that application controls are designed properly and operating effectively across end–to–end processesCollaborate with business process owners to ensure proper user segregation of duties across applications and other control initiativesOther financial control activities as neededPeople and Talent Management –Identify, develop and coach direct and indirect reportsCreate a culture of intellectual curiosity and continuous learning to meet individual development goalsLeads team through change, reinforcing the direction, vision and communicating effectivelyChampion and support change management activities and processesBusiness Applications Support –Deliver effective and efficient business applications expertise and support across DonaldsonGovern and prioritize work requests assigning resources accordinglyBuild capability and business knowledge across DonaldsonDevelop strong partnerships with the multiple stakeholdersMinimum Qualifications:Business, Accounting or Finance degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience7 years or more of financial reporting, auditing and accounting experience5 years of direct management or equivalent experiencePreferred Qualifications:Experience effectively leading a team through change – Experience in project managementExperience with multiple businesses and/or international business experienceExperience with Oracle or other integrated business systemsManufacturing experienceExperience leveraging financial and business systems to monitor business activities and aid in decision makingExperience with operational process reviews and internal control requirementsDemonstrated ability to work independently to gather facts, organize data, analyze financial statements and other financial data to identify relevant issues and support findingsExpertise, knowledge and aptitude for developing and delivering accounting and technology services solutionsCome make a World of Difference!Employment opportunities for positions in the United States may require use of information which is subject to the export control regulations of the United States.
