What you will do in this role to contribute to the Company's success:

  • Processes and records corporate bank deposits.
  • Prepares, processes, and approves checks, wire transfers, and Automated Clearing House (ACH) payments.
  • Reviews and ensures accuracy of Accounts Payable transactions.
  • Performs monthly general ledger and bank account reconciliations.
  • Assists management with analysis and accounting related projects, including but not limited to, audit requests, vendor spend reporting, and merger and acquisition implementation tasks.
  • Assists management in development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the department.
  • Completes special projects and analyses as requested by department leadership
  • Provides general business support for a wide range of partners and internal customers.
  • This position has the expectation and responsibility to take on other duties needed to help drive our Purpose, fulfill our Brand Principles and abide by our Organization's values.


Qualifications:

  • Two years minimum of practical general ledger accounting experience in a public accounting and/or corporate/general accounting environment required; five or more years preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university focusing in Accounting, Business Administration, or Financial Accounting preferred.
  • Knowledge and understanding of U.S. generally accepted accounting principles (U.S. GAAP).
  • Functional knowledge of general and corporate accounting processes and internal controls.
  • Ability to understand and communicate accounting issues, including developing processes to record.
  • Superb attention to detail, strong planning and organization skills, and the ability to multi-task, prioritize and deliver results.
  • A passion for learning, continuous improvement, and personal growth.
  • Experience in process improvement activities.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications, advanced knowledge of Excel required.
