Responsibilities
Qualifications
- Work with various department and plant managers on Annual Budget to ensure accurate reporting with supporting documents. Prepare consolidated annual budget report for review with plant management. Load final budget into ERP system for rates determination before annual standard cost roll.
- Assist in the Standard cost setting process, work with Supply Assurance, Procurement to ensure accuracy of standard purchase cost and routing setting.
- Coordinate month-end closing of production process, investigate and explain production related variances in SAP.
- Complete accounting entries and other close activities on time and accurately. Prepare monthly reconciliations of inventory and excess & obsolescence inventory.
- Ensure IHC payment in SAP is cleared monthly, loan interest is accrued quarterly and entries booked in SAP including hedging and conversion of funds.
- Review Change Requests (CR) in MDG for complete and accurate costing setup.
- Ensure compliance with Corporate policies and procedures, good controls, adherence to statutory/SOX requirements and audit processes.
- Support Corporate Treasury functions.
- Assist in various special accounting projects as requested by the Financial Controller.
Qualifications
- Degree or recognized professional qualifications in Accounting. CA/CPA is a plus.
- At least 6 years of experience in accounting in a manufacturing ERP environment.
- Knowledge of Singapore/US GAAP reporting and Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) compliance.
- Proven ability to work with minimum supervision, good initiative, resourceful and meticulous.
- Must have demonstrated proficiency in journal entry preparation, account analysis and variance analysis.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a strong team player.
- Demonstrated ability to work and interact in cross-functional relationships.
- Advanced knowledge of Standard Costing processes in SAP environment.
- Advanced knowledge of SAP, Excel and Microsoft Power BI.
- Work well under pressure and be able to manage tight deadlines.
