Capex Accountant

(6-Month Contract)

Successful candidate will be awarded a LOCAL employment contract.

Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of capex reports on periodic and ad hoc basis for management
  • Tracking and monitoring preparation and analysis of Capex, Collections, fixed asset, purchase order status etc.
  • Ensure that FA Sub Ledger and accounts are reconciled
  • Help to ensure Financial COA structure is adhered to Corporate template for Fixed Assets
  • PEPI/OCS expert user of Capex functions
  • Assist in the periodic and year-end audit
  • Assist in budgeting preparation
  • Assist in resolving issues in Integrity Reports
  • Timely & accurate reports completed within instructed guidelines
  • Monthly accounts reconciled
  • Capex and Fixed Asset matters settled in timely manner
  • Internal customer requirements/satisfaction
  • Debtors outstanding accounts are closely monitored
  • Issues in PEPI/OCS integrity reports are resolved promptly


Requirements:
  • Accountant Level- Independent
  • Diploma in accounting with about 6 years related accounting work experience. Handling full set of accounts is an advantage
  • Reasonable level of Analytical skills to help analyze, troubleshoot, run reports and explain variance, trends etc on an independent basis
