DESCRIPTION
XCM Business Operations and Solutions is a globally-aligned strategic unit, enabling XCM to deliver bar-raising creative campaigns for Amazon. BOS optimizes the health of the XCM business by implementing cost-effective, scalable and standardized solutions. BOS is the main liaison between the production and media teams and internal partners such as Legal, Finance, Risk, and Tax to manage all operational planning, reporting, forecasting, spend, headcount, vendor management, and compliance to Amazon policies.

BOS is looking for a dynamic, organized and self-starting Business Analyst with Business Intelligence Engineering skillset to develop and monitor strategic insight into business performance and financial metrics as we continue to drive a wide number of operational initiatives, globally. In this role, you will design and execute the business intelligence solutions end-to-end for our global operations and XCM business partners across WW, along with maintaining existing reports and dashboards in QuickSight. Business Analyst is expected to support the business through the development of metrics and reporting solutions, data manipulation and in-depth analysis. This individual will be deeply imbedded in identifying automation opportunities in the process and capable to build self-service tools to improve the process, in short-term and long-term. The successful candidate will have strong analytical and managerial skills (added advantage) and the ability to prioritize well and communicate clearly, as well as having a consistent track record of delivering results by applying business acumen and analytics. They should enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with strong operational individuals, globally and be highly technology orientated in business reporting and insights.

Develop a long-term business intelligence strategy/analytics/tools roadmap and self-service reporting capabilities, new input forecasting methodologies and drive the implementation end-to-end.

• Be a thought leader on data systems, data mining and analysis to scale BOS capabilities, uncover trends and develop insights.
• Work with extremely large datasets and manipulate/mine data from database tables (Redshift, Oracle, AWS and COUPA).
• Partner with regional BOS Managers and Finance team to drive requirements for new reporting and insights and continue to simplify existing reports.
• Enable effective decision making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources and compiling it into a digestible and actionable format.
• Able to manage and execute entire project end-to-end or components of large global projects from start to finish including project management, data gathering and manipulation, synthesis and modeling, problem solving, and communication of insights and recommendations.
• Seek opportunities to inject advanced analytical techniques into BOS and XCM business.
• Coach existing MIS specialists and improve team's overall technical skillset bar, in a measurable way.
• Write Weekly Business Review (WBR) and Monthly Business Review (MBR) documents and present to BOS leadership.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Graduate degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, or other quantitative field.
• 6+ year's professional experience in business analytics and engineering.
• Proven ability to lead analytics and MIS teams, deliver actionable insights, and apply strong judgement to prioritization.
• Experience gathering business requirements, using industry standard business intelligence tools (such as QuickSight, Tableau, Power BI) to extract data, formulate metrics, and build reports.
• Strong analytical skills including SQL, including the ability to pull data and use data to identify and solve ambiguous problem.
• Must be able to explain technical concepts and analysis implications clearly to a wide and senior global audience, and be able to translate business objectives into actionable analysis
• Adept at working with different systems and making recommendations on improvements for both systems and processes.
• Intermediate level in Python or R coding
• Be self-driven, and show ability to deliver on ambiguous projects with incomplete or dirty data
• Experience in Advanced Excel and SQL scripting.
• Proven ability to meet tight deadlines, multi-task, and prioritize workload

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience working in very large data warehouse environments such as ETL, Cognos platforms
• Experience in Finance concepts and managing large finance data sets.
• Experience in managing global programs and projects.
• Certifications such as Six sigma, yellow Belt, etc would be an added advantage.
Experience in Robotic Process automation from onboarding until implementation would be an added advantage.
