Utilise your Project Management/ Business Analyst experience in this fantastic opportunity within Macquarie Investment Management (MIM) and be involved in leading various projects and workstreams including systems implementations, strategic and regulatory changes, process improvements and other technological advancement initiatives.
You will join our MIM Australia Project Management team and will work closely with Investment, Operations, Compliance and IT professionals in all MIM locations.
In this role you will lead and deliver projects across a global organization through the full project lifecycle which will involve managing the project budget, schedule, resources, quality, risks and issues to ensure project objectives are met. In addition to this, you will be utilising your BA background to analyse, re-engineer, design and make recommendations to improve our business processes. Your strong communication skills will see you present and report progress and status to senior management, project team and stakeholders. This role will allow you to collaborate with business teams and project managers in other locations and you will contribute to a teamwork environment among the PMO team members.
You are a self-starter who is comfortable managing and executing on projects with minimal supervision. You will have a minimum of 3 years Project Management/ Business Analyst experience with a demonstrated track record of delivering projects in the Banking and Financial Services Industry. This experience will be coupled with an ability to think through complex problems and generate creative solutions. Your effective communication skills, strong relationship building skills together with the ability and experience to engage with stakeholders at all levels will contribute to the success in this position. Previous experience managing data migrations/ platform transitions will be highly regarded. Knowledge of Buy Side Trade Lifecycle and Project Management qualifications (PRINCE II, PMP or otherwise) will be advantageous but are not the requirement for this role.
