Without knowing it you have probably touched this organisations product today. They are a large Australian manufacturer that is based in the inner Northern Suburbs of Melbourne. The business has been through some huge growth over the last decade, both organically and through strategic acquisitions. They have a medium sized finance team based on site at their manufacturing facility & have enjoyed strong tenure within the core members of that team. The Role
This role is been offered due to increased workload within the finance team. The successful candidate will work closely with the Finance Manager & Accountant to absorb some of their workload. The position will start from home (WFH) and transition back to the office in the new year as restrictions continue to ease.
You will be responsible for:
Your Profile
You will have several years' experience in the accounting field. Alongside some AP/AR tasks, your previous roles will have included some Month -End close activities (journals, accruals etc)
It's likely you will be at the Assistant Accountant level or perhaps a Bookkeeper that has had some exposure to higher level accounting duties. You will be immediately available and able to commit to the full 6 months.

- Monthly Journal Processing
- Bank & GL Reconciliations
- Journal Entries / Accruals
- Assist with BAS preparation
- Support to Accounts Payable & Receivable
