The Technical Development Business Analyst (TD–BA) is responsible for facilitating the operations data process and creation of artifacts relating to activities ensuring operational effectiveness. The TD–BA owns project goals by developing project plans, establishing deadlines, monitoring milestone completion, providing timely reporting of issues that impact progress and resolving conflicts. This includes performing research and analysis to describe and communicate the future state in a cohesive and comprehensive format. The incumbent will contribute to defining and implementing process improvement opportunities and technical design activities.Duties and Responsibilities:Facilitates analysis meetings and sessions in support of departmental and enterprise initiativesAnalyze, trend, report and present findings as well as create high quality visual representations for broad and diverse audiences within the organizationCreate precise documents to describe specifications, capabilities, and processes associated with the assigned projects demonstrating efficiency and effectivenessParticipate in process and technical solution creation activitiesDevelop and maintain SAS/SQL/VBA/SharePoint reporting tools, databases and processesQuery and manipulate data to identify variance and root cause, analyze trend, summarize findings and develop recommendations for stakeholdersWork departmentally and interdepartmentally to address deficiencies and recommend implementation of creative efficiencies and modifications to existing processPrepare routine reports as needed (financial, quality, production, operational efficiency, etc.) and other duties as assignedCollaborate with business units to understand strategic goals and promote an environment conducive to creativity, change and information exchangeMinimum Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institutionExperience in SAS, SQL, and AWS servers and databasesExperience in creating, editing and executing queries using SQL Server applicationsDemonstrated ability to create visualizations and presentations with hands on experience in Tableau Desktop, PowerPoint ,Word and Advanced Excel Experience in creating, editing, and maintaining contents in SharePoint platformExperience in gathering and communicating complex analytical business requirements in a simple and easy to understand manner to other staff. As the SME, the BA will need to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization, including technical staff, internal non–technical staff, testing teams, and business stakeholdersAbility to diagnose system deficiency and issue and provide quality assurance testingExperience in facilitating analysis sessions and delivering presentationsThis is a collaborative team environment. You must be able to effectively work with others, provide and implement project solutions while understanding process flowsDemonstrate consistent multi–tasking skills and planning for prioritizing workload within tight deadlinePreferred Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institutionExperience and knowledge in Claims Operations, Enrollment & Billing, Members Services, or Providers OperationsAgile Experience (Scrum, Scaled Agile Framework)VersionOne Software and/or Kanban Software ExperienceExperience in creating, editing and executing queries using SAS Base, SAS Enterprise Guide, and Alteryx DesignerExperience in creating, reverse–engineering and maintaining Excel/Access VBA applicationKnowledge of other programming/reporting applications (i.e. Visual Basic Studio, Qlikview, Cognos, Python, etc)Knowledge and relevant work experience within the healthcare industry (such as a managed care organization, commercial health insurance plans, hospital, etc)Hands–on experience with rules based table and systems (i.e. PowerMHS, Biz Talk, PEGA Preprocessor, SaleForce CRM, etc)Knowledge of Macess or other workflow systems (i.e. MS Project, SharePoint or any other time management system or project tracking tools)Experience with Business Process modelingWE ARE AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER.
