Finance Manager (12-month contract)
Newtown
£35,000 - £45,000
Seymour John are recruiting on behalf of a £10m turnover manufacturing business based in Newtown who seek to recruit a Finance Manager for an initial 12-month contract.
In this role as number one in finance on-site, you will report directly to the Director and be responsible for managing the day to day finances of the business with a small team reporting.
Key duties will include monthly management accounts preparation using an ERP system, stock analysis, budgeting and forecasting and month end duties. You will also look after VAT returns, balance sheet reconciliations and production of ad-hoc reports for the SMT. Other adhoc duties include accruals and prepayments and maintenance of the fixed asset register.
You will ideally be a fully Qualified or Qualified by Experienced candidate with previous experience operating at an Accountant / Finance Manager level, ideally within a manufacturing environment. My client however is very open minded to the background and qualifications of the successful candidate.
You will work for a fast-paced SME with 20 days holiday, pension scheme and an early finish on a Friday.
