Our client are a leading accountancy practise based on the outskirts of Durham and due to expansion require a bookkeeper to join their team.
The role will successful candidate needs to have experience of the following:
Must have extensive knowledge of Xero
Must have experience of VAT in multiple industries
Must have experience in reconciling bank and cash accounts
Not essential to have worked with Receipt bank but an added bonus
Duties would include:
Xero support with clients who prepare their own books
Receipt bank implementation and support
Bank reconciliations
VAT preparations ready for review
Year end reconciliations ready for accounts review and completion
Producing client queries and discussion points, not essential as can be funnelled through client managers if the candidate is uncomfortable speaking with clients directly
Happy to continue as a bookkeeper, as this would be account preparation only and not offering further advancement, but certainly if a good candidate an advancement in salary would be forthcoming
They are looking at offering a salary of between £18,000- £22,000 depending upon experience.
