Assistant Manager - Finance

Roles & Responsibilities

Ensure smooth delivery of monthly performance review and ensure accuracy of data and deadlines are met
Support and perform month end activities such as management reporting, master control maintenance and timely AGIS
Managing AR and AP as part of working capital management and daily banking operations
Support to reconcile, validate and analyse funding requirement and forex exposure / hedges sufficiency
Responsible for compliance to statutory reporting and accounting standards
Perform monthly, quarterly or other ad hoc reviews on sales, P&L variances and lead balance sheet integrity review

Requirements

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's degree in Accounting / Commerce or professional qualification (ACCA / ACA / CPA)
Minimum of 7 years of relevant accounting & finance experience with minimum of 1 year covering areas of business performance management, financial/management accounting and reporting and financial analysis is required
Must be able to work independently, mature with positive attitude, good command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia
Competency in Oracle ERP software and working experience in the commodity trading will have an added advantage
Applicants must be willing to be based in Kuala Lumpur but conversant with Singapore tax laws
Must be meticulous with the ability to work under pressure
