Head of Commercial Financial Planning and Analysis

As we continue to grow, we are now looking to build further on the expertise of our senior team by recruiting a Head of Commercial Financial Planning and Analysis.
This is a new position. Working alongside the Group Financial Controller, you will support the CFO by controlling all aspects of financial planning, reporting, cost and stock control and commercial analysis, to support the senior management team and the wider business in making well informed decisions ensuring future stability, growth and profitability.

What else will you have to do?

  • Manage the budgeting and forecasting process
  • Undertake commercial and operational analysis, challenging the operational teams in the wider business as appropriate.
  • Perform monthly, half yearly and annual financial reporting
  • Undertake internal and external KPI reporting
  • Managing commercial, costing and performance reporting
  • Provide stock reporting and analysis and subsequent follow up
  • Manage external financial stakeholder relationships

Our Ideal Person:

  • You must be a qualified accountant
  • You will be familiar with IFRS
  • Familiarity with PLC reporting would be advantageous
  • Good at problem-solving and managing change
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Incisive board reporting
  • A 'people person' able to engage a team, motivating and coaching future talent
  • Experience of working within a high volume, fast paced and changeable retail / e-tail business would be advantageous
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to understand the dynamics of a commercial on-line retailer
  • An excellent communicator able to build effective relationships both internally and externally is critical
  • You must be self-motivated and proactive with the ability to work under pressure
