Head of Finance - manufacturing

Our client, a well-established manufacturing business, is currently looking to recruit a Head of Finance to join their finance department on a permanent basis.

This is a senior and influential role for a forward thinking finance professional with strong leadership skills, previous manufacturing industry experience and the passion to make a difference within the business.

Reporting to the Managing Director and working alongside the senior management team, you will be responsible for the strategic management of the finance function and activity required to encourage and accelerate the company's growth and success whilst protecting and promoting the brand.

Qualified Accountant ((ACA, ACCA or CIMA), or qualified by experience within a similar sector, with a minimum of seven years in industry and five years' experience of working within a supervisory or management capacity.

Responsibilities will include:

Providing sound financial advice to the Directors and Senior Management Team Ensuring all financial related business policies and protocols are adhered to and act as a steward for the Company finances Strategic management of budgets, statutory and internal accounts to include forecasting and performance monitoring Management and development of the accounting function ensuring the analysis, control and reporting of financial data and processes within the Business achieve local, regional & global strategic objectives Ensuring robust accounting systems are in place and supporting the business Management of manufacturing cost accounting and costing function, including review of standards and monthly reporting against standards Encourage collaboration within all areas of the Company to manage factors influencing business income and expenditureOur client is realistic about the remuneration for this role.
