The role:

As the Asia FP&A Director, you own and are accountable for the FP&A process for Asia by:
  • engaging with the business to support the development of the strategy for the next 3 years with a focus on growth. Translate the business plan into the financial plan.
  • running the forecast process to highlight trends and business risks. Identify mitigation options to keep the Asia region and countries on plan
  • providing insightful, succinct and timely information on the performance of the business to support and drive results delivery.
  • keeping the business up to date with relevant statutory, internal, or external regulations, standards, and codes of good practice

As Singapore FD you:
  • are accountable for the annual operating plan and monitoring delivery - P&L, cash flow (receivables) and KPIs
  • are a key member of the Singapore country management team as the commercial insight for the business
  • identify and recommend options to deliver the growth and profit agenda through sound commercial category analysis across Pest Control and Hygiene
  • deliver acquisition growth through a pipeline of deals, including development of the business case, modelling of acquisition performance and development & execution of integration plans.


Requirements

Person:
  • Acts commercially - you are business / customer focused in making decisions, can simplify complexity and analytically strong
  • Delivers results - you sets and meet stretching goals and have the ambition, discipline, organization & persistence to follow through
  • Leads - you establish credibility and have the maturity to influence at all levels of the organisation. You hold yourself and your peers & colleagues accountable for performance and act as a role model for the ethics and standards of the company
  • Coaches and develops - you coach versus tell, adopting a growth mindset to everything you do
  • Work With Others - you are a team player, developing relationships & acting collaboratively. Listens effectively and invites response

Role requirements:
  • CPA/CA with 10+ years of experience in finance roles, in a matrix organisation.
  • A track record of delivering value in senior finance roles beyond audited accounts
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal & communication skills - at ease working cross-functionally and with people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to establish credibility, trust and partnership at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong financial modelling skills supported by excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Experience using systems to deliver FP&A outcomes, to interrogate data and to generate business insights
  • Continuous improvement mindset and an innovative approach with the energy to influence and drive change
  • M&A experience (preferred)
  • Working capital management, particularly receivables
  • Agility to understand the challenges of a services business and how it operates within different economic sectors (experience from the services sector not essential)
  • Fluent in English
