Southern Cross Care (Qld) currently has an opportunity for a Senior Business Analyst to join the team in our Support Centre based in Upper Mt Gravatt on a 9 month contract.

This role reports to the Head of Finance and will be responsible for managing and supporting the implementation of our Procure to Pay solution (P2P).

We are looking to gain significant process efficiencies within the main focus area of P2P, so having procurement process experience and a demonstrated working knowledge in this space is a must important.

About the role:
  • Provide Project Management oversight of implementation activities to deliver the project scope on time and within budget using a project management methodology
  • Management of the project team and activities to successfully deliver the scope of the project including but not limited to Project Management Planning, Design, Business Readiness, Change Management, configuration, system integration, UAT testing, data migration and go-live activities.
  • Manage the organisation's Change Management to successfully deploy technology and usage within service sites across the organisation
  • Provide status reporting and updates to the Steering Committee, Executive and Board relating to all facits of the project for which you are responsible.
  • Manage contract for delivery of the system and
  • Analyse and propose systems and tools to support decision making and improve business performance
  • Assist with quality assurance practices and plan, manage project finalisation activities.
About you:

  • Bachelor Degree relevant to project stream(s).
  • Recognised project management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2, PMI, PMBOK, AI)

Skills & Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in managing and or participating in enterprise-level projects that require substantial process, system and cultural change, and result in improved business performance.
  • Specific experience in implementing systems and business process improvements in the "procure to pay" process lifecycle and internal control requirements
  • Proven experience in leading business change initiatives including the development and application of change management strategies, plans and techniques.
  • Sound understanding of project frameworks and processes with an ability to apply structured project management methodology throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills including the ability to establish relationships, facilitate workshops and influence both business and technical people.
  • Advanced capability to manage stakeholder and delivery issues in organisations at early stage maturity in project and change management would be beneficial.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for communicating with management, technical consultants and internal / external vendors
  • Proficient in the use of project management tools, such as MS Project
