Your new role
This role is an excellent opportunity for a motivated senior accountant with 5+ years Taxation experience for individuals and SME businesses. Working alongside highly qualified co-workers, whilst providing mentoring and support to all team members. You will need to be capable and driven to maintain and further build on the practice's valuable client relationships.Your role will include working with a diverse range of clients, including Not for Profit and SME's. Reporting to the Director of the company, your role will include however, not limited to:
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will hold a tertiary qualification in accounting or a similar field and be able to demonstrate 5+ years' experience in a similar role identifying a solid knowledge of Australian Taxation Law. You will enjoy working in a leadership position where you support and mentor other staff members. You must be able to work autonomously with minimum supervision.
CPA or IPA, or CA qualifications are strongly preferred but not essential.

- Preparation of Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns for Companies, Trusts, Partnerships, Sole Traders and Individuals
- Preparation of Business Activity Statements
- Preparation of General-Purpose Financial Reports and Special Purpose Financial Reports
- Preparation of Management Reports
- Undertake audits
What you'll need to succeed
