This retailer is seeking an Accounts Payable Officer to join their team on a temporary basis whilst they recruit for a permanent addition. Working in a cash positive and high transaction environment, no two days will be the same as you manage your time between supporting other members of the team as well as working closely with the Accounts Manager. You will relish the opportunity to expand on your industry and systems knowledge, as well as being able to work in an environment where effort and excellence are rewarded. Our client requires you to be available to work in the office, at a full-time capacity. Start times are flexible with onsite parking provided.

You will be an energetic and driven AP Officer with recent experience within a similar high-volume full function position. You will value the importance of providing superior customer service and be comfortable liaising at a range of clientele. You will enjoy the challenge of high-volume transactions within a diverse and complex industry.

The Role
- Receiving and processing incoming invoices and matching to Purchase Orders
- Coding the invoice appropriately and accurately
- Obtaining authorization from the relevant Manager
- Creating a payment file and processing a weekly payment run
- Reconciling incoming Supplier statements
- Support team with bank reconciliations and any credit card reconciliations
- Any other ad hoc duties as required from time to time
