Finance Manager

I am working with company based just outside Blackwood who are looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join them on a permanent basis. This is a new role within the organisation as they are during a high growth period and they want someone who can work with the Directors of the business to help drive them forward as a company.

As this role will be the most senior position within their finance function, the successful person will have full responsibility for finance based strategic decisions so it is essential that you have worked at the senior finance level previously.

Other duties will include but not be limited to:

* Report to the MD directly
* Management of 1 person within the finance team
* Processing day to day ledger entries as required.
* Managing debtor's ledger to ensure credit control processes are being adhered to.
* Management of accounts payable function.
* Creation of monthly management information pack
* Monitoring the companies foreign exchange exposure including forecasts to identify shortfalls and hedging with appropriate instruments.
* Monthly close off processes and balance sheet reconciliations.
* Reconciliation and processing of quarterly VAT returns.
* Sourcing finance for the company's activities as required and ensuring existing facilities are serviced.
* Ensuring internal control processes are adhered to.
* Planning, Monitoring and advising the directors on the company's performance on an ongoing basis.
* Ensuring monthly statutory filing requirements are adhered to including Intrastat, EC Sales, etc.
* Assisting external accountants with the preparation of statutory financial statements and annual audit.

Person Specification:

* Previous manufacturing experience is essential
* Open to qualified by experience or qualified CIMA candidates
* Previous experience producing a complete comprehensive set of management accounts including detailed cost analysis essential
