Client Details
We have the pleasure of representing a progressive, stable and growing Billericay based client who continue to develop their Telecommunications Consultancy business as well as their finance function. This organisation is now looking to add to its finance team with the position of Assistant Management Accountant and look forward to bringing on board an individual who is not only highly motivated to develop themselves and their skill set but also undertake a range of commercial and accounting duties to a high standard whilst maintaining constructive lines of communication with key stakeholders within the business.
Description
Duties and responsibilities in this Assistant Management Accountant role;
- Accruals, prepayments and journal postings
- Assist in month and year end accounting processes
- Process purchase ledger invoices
- Produce accounts upto trial balance with additional reporting and analysis
- Cash flow forecasting
- Bank reconciliations
- Adhoc financial project involvement
Profile
Assistant Management Accountant Qualifications and previous experience required
- Part qualified or AAT qualified Assistant Accountant (ACA, CIMA or ACCA)
- Prior experience in assisting in the production of accounts upto trial balance including accruals, prepayments and journal postings experience
- Intermediate level Microsoft packages including excel
- Exceptional attention to detail - Working with large amounts of data
- Analytical Agility - Experience of resolving data integrity issues and working with non-finance staff to improve data
- Good Team player across finance, admin and wider operations environment
- Ability to work with accuracy to fast close deadlines
- Flexible and open attitude within a changing business environment
- Able to remain focused and calm during periods of high workloads and short deadlines
