This Brighton based firm of chartered accountants is searching for an Accounts Senior to join their team as a key addition. As you develop within this firm and role you will take on increasing responsibility in a hands on role, delivering accounts, management accounts, VAT, bookkeeping and planning services to a range of key clients within the firm and progressing in your career.

This is a fast growing and highly reputable firm of chartered accountants based in Brighton. They are looking for a Senior Accountant to join them in a general practice position covering accounts, tax, bookkeeping and VAT work for a broad range of clients across Sussex.
Description
The primary responsibility of this Senior Accountant position, working for a market leading accountancy practice in Brighton, is to provide accounts support to a broad range of clients. In addition to client-facing work - such as taking technical questions for regular clients, they will also be expected to undertake accounts preparation and review, as well as helping to train more junior members of staff.
In broad terms, the Senior Accountant role will involve:
- Accounts and management accounts preparation.
- Personal and corporate tax returns.
- Building and maintaining client relationships.
- Quality control of allocated assignments.
- Other duties in support of the practice as required.
- Reviewing the work of and assisting more junior staff.
Profile
You will be qualified or nearly qualified ACA/ACCA/AAT, or have developed your career through experience only to date. Most importantly you will have gained career experience within the accountancy practice sector, working for a firm of accountants of any size preparing account, tax, management accounts, VAT returns for a mixed client base of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies. You will anything from 2 - 4 years or more experience in this sector and be looking to further your career within a leading firm of chartered accountants.
Job Offer
£35,000- £40,000
