Description

Joining the Orpington team as a Corporate Tax Senior, mouldable around the background and level of the right professional to a decent degree and you will be responsible for the hands on delivery of tax compliance, along with involvement in advisory project work for wide ranging clients across larger corporates, groups and owner managed businesses, wide ranging in size and complexity.

As you develop within the department, there will genuine opportunity and encouragement for involvement working on tax planning and advisory projects with the support and encouragement around you to develop your skills in this area. This could involve project work across assisting on R&D, remuneration planning, share schemes and tax related transactions advice, including tax due diligence and other wide ranging corporate tax advisory project work.

You will ensure excellent client service and the consistent meeting of deadlines, looking to build and maintain tax relationships internally and with clients and provide an exceptional level of client service. With the growth in the firm, combined with the supportive, career focused environment it offers, superb prospects are on offer for the right professional looking to further their tax career.

Profile

You may be any of ACA/ACCA/ATT/CTA qualified, or accountancy qualified and pursuing CTA etc. You will either have a focused career background in corporate tax already, either as a specialist Corporate Tax Senior or similar level, or you may have developed your career so far as more of an all around accounts and tax professional who is looking to specialise your career down the corporate tax discipline.

You will bring a strong tax compliance background, with additional experience of advisory and planning work advantageous, whilst this side can be developed for the right person, if not already bringing significant experience of corporate tax planning. You will be looking to further your career in corporate tax. Your background may have been gained within any of Top 4, Top Ten , Mid Tier/Top 50 or medium/large/small independent accounting firm environments.
