Responsibilities:

Lead multiple engagements delivering billable client work for largetransportation & logistics sector clients
  • Manage the Transportation & Logistics Sector industryconsulting team
  • Develop reusable consulting assets to improve the quality andaccelerate speed of delivery for client engagements
  • Articulate Cognizant's point of view related to transportation& logistics sector industry trends through thought leadership such as whitepapers, infographics, Webinars, and other marketing materials
  • Help build, lead, and develop team of onshore/offshore Transportation& Logistics consultants
  • Navigate Cognizant's organization to build a network and formvirtual teams with expertise in Transportation & Logistics capabilities aswell as emerging digital capabilities (e.g. analytics, cloud, social, mobile,etc.)
  • Manage account-specific consulting plans for accounts across theentire spectrum of Cognizant Business Consulting capabilities
  • Contribute to business development activities for consultingengagements through activities such as pre-sales client presentations,research, and writing proposal, RFP responses and SOWs
  • Build deep CxO relationships and pursue up-sell opportunities withexisting clients in partnership with the Cognizant account team
  • Be accountable for personal and Transportation & Logistics sectorrevenue, margin, and utilization targets
Requirements:

A minimum of 12+ years of experience in management consulting withdirect experience supporting and leading engagements in the Transportation& Logistics sector
  • An understanding of digital trends with a focus on Web, Mobile,Social, Robotics, Sensors, Analytics, and Digital Marketing as it relates toTransportation & Logistics
  • The ability to drive programs across supply chain management &execution, Transportation planning, Route & Load optimization & execution,warehousing & distribution and global trade management
  • Strong written communication and presentation skills with theability to influence senior executives to make positive decisions concerningcapital allocations
  • Experience in business development, client relationship managementand pre-sales support
  • Ability to analyze and share recommendations to improve/modifyexisting processes/ systems for clients
  • Experience with client interaction by identifying client'spriority needs for service and support
  • The ability to manage teams of consultants and work with crossfunctional and client facing teams on a global basis
  • Knowledge and/or expertise in lean six sigma, process flows,systems and procedures which aids analysis and recommendations for solutionofferings to exploit new business opportunities
  • Advanced practical knowledge of business processes, requirementsmanagement, strategy development
  • Ability to travel as necessary to support the client on a globalbasis, but especially across North America
  • Master's Degree in Business/Management highly preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • MUST have experience in the Parcel/Courier Service space
