Financial Controller

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Crawley area for a Financial Controller with a strong background in corporate financial management who is keen to become part of a dynamic team. This role will work closely with the CFO and as part of the management team to assist in updating and developing financial processes in order to meet and exceed corporate goals. Successful candidate will work with the executive team to seek more effective ways to handle corporate funding, tax issues and growth financing. Specific duties to include:

*Streamline supplier payment process and cashflow

*Month, quarter and year end financial activities including management accounts

*Balance sheet reconciliations and produce summary reconciliations report to the Exec team

*Payroll and associated compliance

*HMRC Tax compliance

Ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a senior finance position and ideally be ACCA/ACA/CIMA/AAT qualified and possess a strong understanding of tax codes and laws. Strong interpersonal and accounting system skills are essential as is an individual who is commercially focused and eager to drive the business forward.
