Job Summary: Under the direction of the Accounts Payable supervisor and Disbursement Services manager, performs complex accounting duties, which will include posting, updating, reconciling, auditing and preparing summary financial and statistical reports. Interpret and adhere to MUSC policies and procedures, and state and federal regulations.

Payscale Salary Range: UNIV-Band 5: $33,494.00 - $47,734.00 - $61,975.00 (min - mid - max)

FLSA: Salaried

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: A high school diploma and three years professional experience in a related area such as accounting, auditing, finance or commercial lending. A bachelor's degree with multiple accounting courses may be substituted for two years of the required work experience.

Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred: Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or related field, and at least one year Accounts Payable experience. Candidate should be proficient with computer software (specifically MS Office, SmartStream Financials, and web-based applications). Excellent attention to detail, organizational and time management skills. Excellent communication skills (encompasses verbal, written, interpersonal, and listening). Be flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities and rapid change.
