Your professional experienceTo qualify for the role you must:
• Have excellent interpersonal skills and can work on your own initiative.
• Have audit or internal audit experience in banking and/or investment management.
• Have an excellent academic track record. Graduates with a professional accounting qualification (or working towards a professional qualification) are our preferred candidates but we will consider all candidates that have very strong and proven CASS technical skills.
• Good knowledge of the wider financial services industry and the regulatory environment.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to understand regulation and apply it to different business scenarios.
• Be a CASS specialist already or have some knowledge and a keen desire to develop this into a specialist skill set, including a working knowledge of both the Client Assets Sourcebook and the FRC standard on Client Assets.
• Have the ability to coach and develop more junior staff.
Aptitude for development of the following skills would also be essential:
• Project management skills.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to work under your own initiative and across a number of different and challenging engagements.
• Strong presentation, business writing and professional standards.
• Ability to identify sales opportunities and progress these in conjunction with other team members.

Personal independence
