Business Analyst

As a Barclays Business Analyst, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for an end-to-end business analysis function and perform an end-to-end project management role from project inception to implementation. You will be involved in a number of projects delivering business and technology change in a role that is a challenging and exciting hybrid of a technical Business Analyst role and elements of Project Management.

What will you be doing?
• Being responsible for elicitation and documentation of requirements, using User Stories
• Being in charge of end-to-end requirements management and traceability, both functional and non-functional
• Mapping business processes and producing client journeys
• Working with Data Analysts to identify data sources and design self-serve dashboards
• Performing technical systems analysis and working closely with Architects and Solution Designers
• Managing documentation of Acceptance Criteria and working closely with technology development teams to ensure solutions meet the requirements
• Planning projects, following Agile and Waterfall methodologies
• Being responsible for benefit analysis
What we're looking for:
• Demonstrable experience in a Senior Business Analyst role with strong evidence of both business and technology change delivery
• Strong evidence of analysis techniques, covering all phases of the project lifecycle, both Agile and Waterfall
• Experience in Financial Services project delivery, especially in a Private Banking or Wealth Management environment for a multi-national organisation
• Demonstrable experience in a Project Management role with strong evidence of both business and technology change delivery
Skills that will help you in the role:
• ISEB or equivalent Business Analysis qualification
• Agile Business Analysis training or qualifications
• Experience of Jira and Confluence tools
• Experience of Qlikview or similar self-service reporting dashboards tool
