As a Senior Tax Accountant you will be responsible for corporate tax filings and returns, meeting all required deadlines. You will also assist and manage tax audits and professional relationship with the tax authority and maintain current knowledge of all tax laws affecting the company. You are expected to partner the business closely by providing appropriate tax advice and resolve tax issues and inquiries from both internal and external customers.

As a Senior Tax Accountant you will be responsible for corporate tax filings and returns, meeting all required deadlines. You will also assist and manage tax audits and professional relationship with the tax authority and maintain current knowledge of all tax laws affecting the company. You are expected to partner the business closely by providing appropriate tax advice and resolve tax issues and inquiries from both internal and external customers.
Responsibilities
- Manage preparation of corporate tax returns, WHT filing and payments
- Maintain tax files containing workpapers and documents filed with tax authorities and other parties
- Prepare information for quarterly tax provision ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP ASC740 and local reporting
- Prepare tax entries and reconciliation of tax related general ledger accounts
- Analyze data and provide recommendation in tax research and projects
- Respond to internal and external tax inquires, audits
- Work on process automation for efficient processing of data and analysis
- Monitor and analyze proposed and newly enacted tax legislation, regulations and judicial decisions that impact the company's operations and financial positions
- Assist in other tasks and projects
Requirements:
- 5 years+ of related experience in a large MNC and/or a CPA firm with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Tax
- Strong Singapore direct tax knowledge and analytical skills, regional tax experience is an advantage
- Effective oral and written English communication skill and embrace team work spirit
- Strong problem-solving and time management skills
- Experience with SAP and strong computer skills
- Accountable, positive attitude and resilient under pressure
