Your new company
Based in Paisley, our client is recruiting for a Graduate to join their commercial finance team on a permanent basis. The hours of work are Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm. The organisation can be accessed by public transport and there is also on-site parking. Whilst there may be the opportunity to work from home moving forward, the role will be based in office initially.
Your new role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will undertake the duties of a Commercial Finance Analyst and work as part of a team of 3. This will include but is not limited to; analysing data, monitoring costings, contract analysis, reporting for management, maintaining transactional finance information, liaison with a range of different departments, resolving queries, problem solving and general associated tasks. Full training will be provided.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will have a maths/statistics focused degree or a finance degree but be more motivated by a commercial finance career path than have aspirations of becoming an accountant. You should have strong attention to detail, have an analytical nature and be a proven problem solver. You will liaise with different departments on a daily basis, therefore you should have excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
