Oxford University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust requires a highly motivated, reliable and flexible Senior Accounts Payable Officer to work as a key member of the Finance Team. You will have extensive knowledge of Healthcare infrastructure services and suitable experience of working within a Hospital environment.
The post holder will have excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise their own workload, whilst working as part of a busy team. They will be proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, with strong attention to detail. Assisting in the efficient running of the Accounts Payable team ensuring invoices are processed correctly without delay and all monies owing to suppliers paid within agreed payment terms.Experience of working in a financial environment is essential, as is excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to deal with people at all levels in a friendly and helpful manner. An Accounting Technician qualification or substantial progress towards one would be advantageous, as would previous NHS experience.
We are able to offer a competitive salary and benefits package including access to the NHS pension scheme, staff discounts, childcare vouchers and 27 days annual leave a year (not including bank holidays) extending to 33 days a year with service.
