Corporate Risk

Risk management at Wells Fargo is organized with clearly defined lines of defense to provide effective risk oversight and decision-making across the organization. Each line of defense is assigned specific responsibilities and understands the associated activities it is expected to perform.
Independent risk management in Corporate Risk is responsible for independent oversight of risk-taking activities. The function is led by the Chief Risk Officer, who reports to the chair of the Risk Committee of the Board of Directors. Strategic enterprise function-aligned leaders in the Corporate Risk organization provide an independent view of horizontal, cross-business risks.

The Fiduciary & Investment Risk Oversight ("FIRO") Group is responsible for independently overseeing a broad collection of activities and risk types across the Enterprise. Our environment continues to be one of heightened standards, raised risk consciousness, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

The Operational Risk Associate position will support the administration and execution of FIRO's Risk Program. The individual will be responsible for supporting FIRO's risk assessment process and working with various lines of business to develop transparent and supportable oversight processes.
Specific responsibilities include:
• Support senior management in the development, socialization and execution of FIRO's risk assessment process
• Lead efforts to integrate with Enterprise risk programs
• Procedural or analytical expert in one or more risk, product, or business areas
• Develop and implement a support model for managing and aligning data
• Support development and execution of reporting for internal and external stakeholders
• Assist in the governance of team milestones, tasks, activities

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: finance, risk, or audit
• 3+ years of data collection and reporting experience
• 3+ years of SQL experience

Desired Qualifications

• Experience with Sharepoint Development and administration.
• 3+ years of risk management experience
• Experience with Tableau
• Process design or improvement experience
• Knowledge and understanding of brokerage or asset management
• Ability to interact with all levels of an organization
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
• Support and utilize quantitative and qualitative methodologies and data produced by team analysts to measure, monitor and report on F&I risk. (e.g. SHRP, Bloomberg, BarraOne, FactSet)

Work Location: Bangalore
• Shift Timings: 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM
