An exciting opportunity exists for a Business Analyst to join our Central Executive team in Hong Kong.

The Central Executive Group (CEX) comprises the offices of the CEO, Deputy CEO, and regional leadership. Working as part of the Central Executive Group in Hong Kong, you will support senior leaders across the business to develop and drive strategic and cross-divisional collaboration initiatives in the Asia region, as well as monitoring the performance and operations of Macquarie's Asia platform.

Joining at Senior Associate level, you will have the opportunity to assume real responsibility, by working on projects that will drive key strategic decisions with respect to any acquisitions, alliances, and the creation of new businesses across Macquarie in Asia. You will support the development of key client and stakeholder relationships. You will also be responsible for supporting the team by monitoring and analysing the performance and operations of the Asia platform, providing regular regional updates to Head Office in Sydney, including the Board and Management Committees.

This role will be suitable for recent graduates or those with a maximum of 18 months experience in investment banking, private equity or consulting, ideally with hands on experience of M&A activities. You will have a strong tertiary qualification in a relevant field such as Finance, Accounting, or Economics.

You must be confident in presenting your point of view and possess a natural curiosity for the business. You will be a team player and a strong communicator. You will be well versed with financial models and valuation concepts and strong PowerPoint skills are essential. You must be detail orientated and comfortable preparing presentations and materials to a very high standard. Fluency in English is essential and Mandarin is strongly preferred.
