Cost Accountant

• Ensuring cooperation and alignment with department heads to manage and forecast overhead spend, headcount and absorption.
• Support preparation of overhead cost reviews, focusing on opportunities to identify cost reductions
• Ensure the financial processes, systems and controls are operating effectively are appropriately robust and in line with the Group Operating Manual
• Liaising with internal and external customers including and internal and external auditors, where appropriate
• Support team in maintaining financial records and systems in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and are compliant with local and governmental reporting requirements and that provisioning is appropriate for the level of risk
• Reporting and analysis variance to forecast and budget expectations
