Our client in the Reading, PA area is looking for a Senior Accountant to assist with a reconciliation project and year end close for a small non–profit agency. You will be responsible for bank reconciliations, preparing ledger entries and reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger system, preparing annual financial statements, assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable, and related duties.



Responsibilities of a Senior Accountant


  • Preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations
  • Maintaining the general ledger system
  • Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements; assisting with regulatory reporting
  • Researching accounting issues for compliance with GAAP

    Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting or equivalent degree and/or experience
  • 8+ years' experience as an Senior Accountant
  • Experience with Oracle is highly desirable but not a must
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills required
