Page Personnel is working with a business in Liverpool to recruit an Accounts Manager role.

Client Details

This global business has experienced significant growth in its Liverpool shared service centre over the last few years and continues to meet it's growth plans. They are currently undergoing a large recruitment project to bring more people into the accountancy function and are now looking for an Accounts Manager to supervise a small team.

Description

As Accounts Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Supervising a team in producing management accounts, reconciliations and general bookkeeping including accounts payable
• Reviewing the work produced by them and ensuring accuracy and deadlines are met
• Managing team's workload ensuring it's of a high quality
• Supporting, coaching individuals to help with their development
• Dealing with quality issues to ensure stakeholders are receivinng best service possible
• Preparing VAT returns
• Helping with wider business projects around process and controls improvements

Profile

We are looking for someone with:

• Experience of supervising people within a finance environment
• Finance qualifications are desirable (AAT/CIMA/ACCA studier)
• Strong communication skills and able to build relationships
• Confident approach
• Strong IT skills including Excel, MS Access
