Each month, 's entire portfolio reaches over 60 million followers (80% 13-34 y/o) generating over 3 billion views with a unique reach of over 200 million. is looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accouning and FP&A Lead to work under the direction of the SVP of Finance & Analytics and lead WAVE's accounting and FP&A functions. The goal of this role is to promote financial transparency across the organization, improving our ability to understand where business units are tracking vs budget and ensuring that decisions are tied to financial implications.


  • Build relationships across the organization, helping to plan, monitor, analyze and update Budget and Forecasts for each brand and business unit (i.e. content, marketing/growth, partnerships)
  • Manage the month-end close process, including consolidating financial statements, reviewing and reconciling the general ledger, as well as analyzing and explaining variances to projections and prior periods
  • Assist with financial requests from potential and current investors, including spearheading a quarterly management discussion and analysis in addition to the quarterly financial statements we circulate to board
  • Help manage accounts payable/receivable as well as payroll
  • Recommend to management updates to accounting policies as well as technologies and software to streamline accounting processes

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Accounting preferred). Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and/or Master's Degree preferred
  • 5-10 years relevant experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Public accounting experience preferred
  • Knowledgeable of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost control principles and internal control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections; knowledge of short and long-term budgeting and forecasting
  • Strong organizational skills; well organized and self-directed with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
