Mount Vernon Financial Due Diligence : Senior Finance Analyst
An opportunity has arisen for an internal secondment within the Finance Department. The secondment will be at AfC Band 8a and will be for three months' in the first instance, with the possibility for further extension.
The postholder will be working with the team who are carrying out the financial aspects of the Mount Vernon due diligence project, in preparation for reporting to the Board of Directors in April 2021.
Working closely with the due diligence finance lead, the S&C Board finance team, and with other workstream leads, they will carry out a range of tasks, including Interrogation of the financial and non-financial data provided by E&NHerts NHS Trust, identifying and resolving questions arising from the data, triangulating data from different sources, and reporting on the outputs of the analysis.

JOB PURPOSE
To support the UCLH Mount Vernon Due Diligence Finance Lead in the discovery phase of the DD process.
Working closely with the Finance Lead (and as necessary with the S&C Board finance team, and with other workstream leads) they will :

ESSENTIAL :
Data manipulation skills
Good Excel skills - filter and pivots
Ability to summarise data in a digestible format
Ability to identify appropriate graphical outputs to convey clear data messages
Data inquisitive - able to analyse data and then work out what next steps might be
Able to plot data movement across a number of years
Ability to cross check staffing information to financial information
Understanding of how data will be used in a due diligence setting
