About the departmentGlobal IT India was established in February 2010 as an integral part of Global IT in HQ. From the beginning in 2010, the unit has grown to 500+ employees till date. The main role of Global IT India is to 'manage' IT, which includes System Management, Project Management, Infrastructure Management, Compliance Management, Security Management, Process Management and Vendor Management.

Manufacturing IT is the unit which is responsible for more than 60+ global IT systems at Novo Nordisk including the operation, maintenance, support and development of these systems. These systems are used on a global scale by all areas of the business specially in Product Supply (PS) and are critical to the execution of key business processes such as manufacturing and supply chain.

The position The position is anchored in LAB LIMS Systems department within Manufacturing IT India. LAB LIMS Systems consists of an application portfolio for Quality Control systems, mostly used in the laboratory areas across the globe in various Novo Nordisk Product Supply manufacturing sites. In LAB LIMS Systems you will be part of a highly engaged team managing LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) for Product Supply, supporting LIMS system which is core to the laboratory and production processes in Novo Nordisk. You will be part of highly engaged team managing operation, maintenance and development of GxP critical IT system, including system corrections and releases as well as the support process in Agile methodology. You will be working with a team of colleagues both in Denmark and India, and you will have ample opportunities for professional growth and best practice exchanges in your daily work. Furthermore, you will be involved in projects with product supply and working closely together to ensure that business processes are adequately supported by IT systems.

The position holder will be responsible for ensuring that GxP/business critical IT systems follow compliance with internal and external requirements to ensure the validated state. Further will also be responsible of performing review of validation plan/report, URS, FS, TDS, Test plan/report, Qualification Protocol (IQ, OQ, PQ), test cases and TRM. You will also be responsible to support release management cycle of the IT System. In addition, you should be able to take up IT Quality co-ordinator roles at various stages of IT project. Furthermore, should be able to provide compliance consulting for the system and contribute towards achievement of project goals which adherence to Novo Nordisk QMS. Lastly you should be also responsible to provide support for Internal audit / Inspection and facilitating the closure of the identified Audit/Inspection findings.

Qualifications We Expect you to hold the below skills and knowledge.
  • MSC or MBA or similar or graduate degree in relevant field (Software Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration)
  • Overall, 10 years in IT with Min. 7 to 9 years of experience working with GxP requirements
  • Good to have experience within the pharmaceutical or other relevant industry
  • Should have strong background within computer system validation, preferably with experience from the pharmaceutical industry
  • Supervising the day-to-day usage, operation and maintenance of the IT system
  • Strong experience in Release Management - planning, execution and benefit realization
  • Excellent business and system understanding
  • Should drive/participate in activities related to implementation of system enhancements
  • Experience in ITIL related support, including Change/Release and Problem management
  • Experience in international matrix organization/project coordination, work with external vendors and stakeholders in multiple geographies and time zones
  • Should be willing to take ownership
  • Should be able to manage own time planning, multiple concurrent tasks, timely deliverables and flexible
  • Excellent communication skills in English (oral and written)
  • Should have strong knowledge on IT Security Procedure and identify Computer Systems Risks
