SENIOR ACCOUNTANT, GENERAL LEDGER

• Responsible for accounting activities and compliance for defined Metso Outotec companies (defined mid-sized production companies)
• Implements and ensures that Metso Outotec accounting policies are followed
• Responsible of IFRS reporting towards Metso Outotec group
• Responsible of Balance sheet reconciliations 
• Responsible of efficient month end closing for defined group companies
• Responsible for asset accounting
• Instructs accounting standards within entity Accounting Policies
• Manages internal controls within own area 
• Participates to audits and manages audit materials
• Advises Business Units on accounting related issues
• Preparation of statistical reports
• Preparation of VAT reporting
• Participates to projects on accounting area or on related topic

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
• Higher education in Accounting / Economics or similar field
• Fluency in English is mandatory, skills in other main languages within Metso Outotec group seen as an advantage
• Experience on similar type of accounting role(s) from an international environment
• Process domain expertise (General Ledger, IFRS reporting, Asset Accounting)
• SAP and HFM knowledge
• MS Office tools (Excel, etc.)
• Good understanding of fundamental financial principles in all areas of Finance
• Good analytical skills
• Customer service mindset 
• Team work capabilities
• Ability to work summary working hours
