This is a very interactive position that requires a person who has ample experience working within business analysis and business process environments.

Our client is a large Government Department, they are a high performing, customer orientated and are looking for someone who can really drive solutions.

Key skills and experience requirements of Business Analyst

• Assist in the preparation of business requirements, solutions design documents and functional specifications
• Develop, research and document improvement solutions design processes and procedures and promote design best practice supporting business processes
• Demonstrated advanced analytical and problem-solving skills in the interpretation of data from financial and other information systems and the ability to add value to the organisation by preparing and presenting timely information and reports
• Prepare or contribute or the creation of test scripts for test execution
• Assist test analysts to complete system, integration and user acceptance testing and associated activities such as defect loggings, prioritisation and management within established frameworks, strategies, standards, methodologies and policies
• Build and sustain positive and professional relationships with team members and key stakeholders, be responsive to changes in team members and stakeholders needs and expectations while remaining claim under pressure
• Demonstrated high level of written and verbal communications skills with the ability to effectively liaise, consult and negotiate with a diverse range of stakeholders and build positive relationships in an environment of change
• Actively participate in the planning, development and implementation of key business improvement/project deliverables
• Demonstrated high level of knowledge of enterprise finance systems, in particular SAP EEC6
• Demonstrated experience in financial benchmarking activities which have contributed to improvement in organisation effectiveness and best practice in large complex organisations
