TRANSITION COORDINATOR (Temporary position for 1.5 years)

Support Transition Manager to drive the transition projects incl. project planning, dependency tracking and risk handling. Comply with the written policies and guidelines of Metso Outotec. Be result oriented and proactively work to reach the stated goals and objectives of GBS. Prioritizes tasks between across multiple waves and phases. Acts as link and coordinator between different transition stakeholders.

 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • 2 - 3 years of relevant experience
  • Higher education in Finance/Economics/Accounting preffered
  • Finance process knowledge
  • Fluent written and oral English. Other relevant language would be advantage
  • Experienced user of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, SAP, Basware and Concur experience preferred

 

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manages and coordinates individual transition plans and project performance across defined phases and work streams
  • Uses and develops transition plan, methodology, tools & templates
  • Facilitates the assessments and analysis to ensure completeness of information needed to proceed in transition
  • Supports to review transition documentation
  • Participates in regular governance meetings with internal stakeholders
  • Reviews and manages changes through the transition project lifecycle
  • Plans, monitors and reports transition projects
  • Escalates major Transition issues to Transition Management with recommendations on how to mitigate issues and risks
  • Manages and facilitates Status meetings and Decision Gate process
  • Supports in Internal and External Communication during transition
  • Ensures the culture of cooperation is built between the GBS and the Local Organization
  • Shares transition expertise and knowledge for further transitions
  • Identifies and suggests improvement areas across the GBS
  • Executes all other position related tasks delegated by line manager

  • Self-driven and outgoing personality 
  • Ability to work in shifts and travel if needed
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to negotiate, persuade and influence stakeholders
  • Ability to work effectively in diverse, multi-cultural environments
  • Very good planning skills
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines
  • Risk management experience with ability to proactively assess/mitigate risks
