Established accountancy practice seek experienced Bookkeeper to join their fast paced team in Preston
Your new firm
A modern firm of chartered accountants based in Preston are seeking a Bookkeeper. They have been established for a number of years with offices across the United Kingdom and offer a range of services including accounting, tax, audit and payroll. Due to continued growth and acquiring more clients the firm are now seeking an experienced bookkeeper to join their fast paced team.
Your new role
In this role you will be working with a portfolio of clients providing weekly, monthly and quarterly bookkeeping services. This includes keeping on top of the records, maintaining purchase and sales ledgers, liaising with clients and preparing VAT returns. This role will be focused towards bookkeeping however you will also be responsible for preparing accounts to trial balance.
What you'll need to succeed
The partners are seeking an individual that has prior experience working as a bookkeeper in a practice environment. You will need to be able to work efficiently and be organised to ensure you are able to meet multiple deadlines. As this is a client facing role you will need to possess strong interpersonal and communication skills. The firm are ideally looking for an individual that is qualified by experience.

If successful the firm are willing to offer a competitive salary of up to £24,000 dependant on your experience.
