The assistant accountant will be a key figure for our client in their growing accountancy team.
Client Details
Our client based on the outskirts of Redhill, are looking to recruit an assistant accountant on a full time permanent basis.
Description
The day to day duties for the assistant accountant shall be:
- All aspects of Accounts Receivable function
- All aspects of Accounts payable function
- Bank reconciliation
- Intercompany reconciliation - Excel/Sage
- Maintain the fixed asset register - Excel/Sage
- Assisting with the annual audit
Profile
The successful candidate shall have:
- Good working knowledge of Excel and Sage 50.
- Be able to travel to Redhill for work.
- Experience in both accounts payable and receivable process.
- Studying towards a finance qualification such as ACCA or CIMA is preferred but not essential.
- Good understanding of VAT.

Salary £24,000- £27,000
