Accountant

A thriving international organisation based in the Lancaster area have partnered with REED Finance Lancaster to recruit a passionate & talented Accountant for the busy Finance team on a permanent basis.

The role will be reporting directly into the UK Finance lead and will support them with effective management of various financial tasks.

The organisation has seen great success during the last 12-18 months and have a very positive future ahead of them. They are looking for someone that can not only adapt within the business but show aptitude towards the continuous improvement culture.

A summary of the principle duties of the role are:

• Fixed asset management & effective management reporting
• Sales reporting
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Purchase and sales ledger support, providing an overview and assistance to the team
• VAT & corporation Tax
• Month & Year end accounting and support to the Finance lead

The ideal candidate will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified, QBE and part qualified candidates will be considered. They be passionate about 'pure' accounting i.e. getting into the finer detail, ensuring that everything is recorded and reported correctly, spotting improvement and possible discrepancies.

This role will be working very closely with the Finance lead, providing key support with various tasks, so we are looking for someone that is not only experienced but keen to learn from a highly experience Financial leader.
