Regional Financial Controller - Insurance

Responsibilities

Leadership, management and development of team including supporting staff in regional office locations
Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances
Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
Identifying areas for process improvement and leading implementation
Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
Manage and comply with local regulatory and governance requirements
Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls

Requirements

At least 10 years within the insurance or reinsurance sector incl. extensive management experience
Degree in Accounting
Professional qualifications preferred (e.g. FIA, CA, CMA or equivalent)
Past experience in audit or consulting (advantageous)
Advanced knowledge of insurance accounting
Proficiency in MS Excel and IT skills
