Job Summary:We have an opportunity for a self–motivated Financial Controller to join the Silvervine Leadership team. This role will ensure the financial controls and processes are in place and operating effectively. This is a wide–ranging role supporting the underlying departments and carrying out key accounting functions across the Business Group. In the Controller role, you will be responsible for providing key financial services to all members of the Leadership Team and Corporate. This role is about strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting, interpreting and maintaining compliance with our policies, and financial analysis, including reporting progress against budget plans and schedules. You will be involved in everything from behind the scenes details to the big picture. As a part of the Leadership Team, you will be responsible for the ensuring the integrity of all financial information and reporting to deliver "best in class" financial support. If you are not afraid to get into the details, are highly analytical, have excellent communication skills, and are able to work well with others, this role may be for you.Job Description:Responsible to: General ManagerResponsible for: Ensuring integrity of the Financial Results, Management Reporting and Monitoring of the Internal Control Environment.Location Warner Robins, GAKey ResponsibilitiesHands–on support of daily, monthly and year–end processes for financial transactions.Ensure the accuracy, integrity and completeness of the accounting records and financial statements in accordance with IFRS and corporate policies.Direct the finance department in revenue analysis and P monitoring, pricing analysis and performance monitoring, planning and forecasting.Give direction and leadership towards the achievement of the business's strategy and its annual goals and objectives.Liaise with different departments to ensure the Finance Department is properly supporting the needs of the operating business.Analysis of business unit financial results against quarterly forecasting.Responsible for the design, development and improvement of management reportingBuild reports which enable management to make informed decisions about the businessWork with the finance team to include new reports in management reportingAutomate management reporting to reduce processing timePlay a part in providing relevant & timely financial information to the senior leadership team to enable a balanced and objective assessment of the company's strategy and objectives.Maintain effective internal controls and revise/review as the environment of the business changes to include ensuring all documentation, policies and procedures are kept up to dateAssist in adhoc projects as requested by Managing Director / Corporate Senior Finance DirectorCreate an environment that motivates staff ensuring they are fully aware of what is expected of them and regularly review performance with direct reports, resolving any issues.Implementation of a change management culture by challenging & replacing established processes and procedures where necessary.Uphold and enforce an environment of ethical practices.Specialized Skills and KnowledgeBachelor degree in Finance/Accounting required (Advanced degree and/or an accounting qualification (CPA, CMA) a plus)Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experiencePrevious experience in manager–level accounting position a plusAbility to work under pressure to tight deadlinesSelf–motivated starter, able to instigate and manage change.Highly computer literate, with reference to accounting and management software and Microsoft Office products (Excel and PowerPoint especially); Great Plains experience a plusExcellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal and team building skills, comfortable interacting and motivating personnel at all levels of the organization.Worker Type:RegularNumber of Opening Available:1
