Summary:The Aircraft Group is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst (Supply Chain Financials). This individual will play a key role supporting in managing planning, budgeting and reporting of supply chain financials and performance metrics. This individual owns the product cost analysis tools (PCAS) and processes across the Aircraft Group that support significant cost reduction and risk mitigation activities across programs and business units. This individual will contribute financial analysis, modeling and analytics to support the function on key business priorities and strategic initiatives. Working across multiple disciplines, this individual must have a strong ability to link operations actions to financial impacts and communicate clearly and objectively with multiple stakeholders.Key Responsibilities: Support planning, forecasting and reporting of SC financials and performance metrics ... Coordinates across sites and sector finance functions to lead and drive budgeting, forecasting and planning for all supply chain financial reporting. This includes driving consolidation, analysis and insights for core SC financial performance metrics. Ownership of Moog's Product Cost Analysis System (PCAS) ... as the Finance owner and gate keeper of PCAS, the role will drive essential cross–functional communication and collaboration across business units, program teams and supply chain commodity and site leadership. The role will serve to optimize supply chain cost and identify and mitigate future financial and operational risk across Moog Aircraft Group programs. Support supply chain strategic initiatives ... As Moog Aircraft Group continues to grow and invest in the future, this role will support the supply chain with financial modeling, analysis and analytics to help determine financial impacts of strategic initiatives, business pursuits and go–forward supply chain strategy. Leadership and support on key priorities ... In coordination with the SC Finance Business Partner, support finance implementation of cross functional initiatives that drive improved efficiency, effectiveness, and increase value for the supply chain and Aircraft Group.Requirements: Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration. MBA/CPA is a plus. Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, similar industry preferred. Knowledge of ERP business systems, internal controls, and US–GAAP. Behavioral skills, ability to work with all levels of organization Strong interpersonal communication skills is a must. Demonstrated proficiency with MS Excel. Strong analytical and communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to plan and manage daily tasks, meet deadlines, analyze, provide results and recommend solutions to various levels of management. Being proactive, creative, and innovative in solving problems and issues is a must. Demonstrated ability to communicate well with all levels of the organization and experience in working with external constituencies. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and able to react to shifting priorities to meet business need.
