The Role
iFLY is looking for a passionate, energetic leader to join the Finance team reporting to the Director, Finance and Retail Controller. The role will require speed to insight, a relentless focus on performance management, ensuring a strong control environment is maintained at the tunnels and enabling our 4–day close process. The Finance Manager will partner with the tunnel GMs and regional directors to meet and beat top– and bottom–line plans and drive financial acumen and controls at the tunnels.

Responsibilities
Support all phases of the three–year strategic plan, annual plan, period forecasts and period business reviews
Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators and make recommendations
Provide policies, processes and tools to enable strong financial controls at the tunnels
Enable a four–day close process though active engagement during the period and period end key balance sheet reconciliations, AR/AP/inventory reviews, daily close processes at tunnels, non–redemption income, gift card/voucher liability reviews, month–end accruals, tunnel financials and GL review, etc.
Work collaboratively with others within and outside of your function to achieve goals, simplify processes, reduce costs, prevent loss, share best practices and to ensure that work is completed safely, accurately, and on time.
Support ad hoc analysis (e.g., financial, strategic, operational, organizational) and special projects
Work Experience and Requirements
5+ years experience in finance and accounting roles
Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
Strong systems orientation and comfort with gathering, analyzing, and reconciling large amounts of data.
Ability to diagnose errors and inconsistencies and develop solutions.
Experience with a retail POS system and Sage Intacct (Financial ERP) preferred
Strong analytical, modeling and creative problem–solving skills. Translates numerical information into actionable insights
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized
Builds strong relationships with teams across the organization to open lines of communication and work collaboratively.
