In this role, you will be expected to support the Payroll department in a variety of duties, including data entry, reconciliation of timecards, paycheck distribution and providing statements to various departments. You should be able to successfully communicate with both the internal team and outside customers. What you get to do every single day
- Maintain payroll information by contacting employees via email and phone to obtain timesheet approvals
- Train and instruct employees in the proper use of payroll-related systems including entry of timesheets, online access of pay statements, etc.
- Enter data into spreadsheets and the payroll system
- Provide clerical support by filing, scanning, faxing, photocopying, etc.
- Generate and run custom reports
- Retrieve reports as instructed by administering and/or distributing
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Qualified in Payroll software
- Attentive, ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Accurate, swift, data entry abilities
- Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills highly desired
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Command of Process Biweekly Payroll
- Adeptness in Invoice Coding
- Foundational knowledge in benefits administration
- Comprehensive knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)
- Payable Invoices experience
- Deep understanding of semi-Monthly Payrolls
- Enthusiasm when it comes to learning new systems and ideas
- 2+ years of previous payroll experience
