The Finance Director at Esko Brands will own financial reporting and operations for the Esko Brands business (~$80M revenue) and provide support to our internal and external customers with the highest level of accuracy and integrity. This role will also achieve the company's targeted objectives while partnering with members of the leadership team and acting as an active sparring partner to the Brands VP.

What you'll be doing in the role:
  • Develop strategic plans, yearly operating plans, budgets and forecasts for the Brands business aligned with broader Esko financial strategy
  • Partner with the Brands leadership team in driving the right process and behaviors to help achieve committed targets
  • Drive priorities and expectations with the finance team in Chicago and coordinate support functions in Ghent and Miamisburg
  • Ensure compliance with accounting, company policy and procedures
  • Prepare monthly business review and forecast package highlighting key takeaways and business drivers
  • Lead critical initiatives to improve productivity and utilization of ERP, drive efficiencies within the business to help achieve cost goals, and improve working capital performance
  • Identify commercial risks and opportunities and be a trusted advisor to the Leadership team.


What is required for this role:
  • An experienced leader with minimum 5- 10 years of proven track record preferably in the software & solutions field
  • A decisive individual who possesses a "big picture" perspective and is proficient in systems
  • Preferably Master degree in Economics/Finance
  • Familiar with US GAAP and with ERP systems in general
  • A strategic approach with sound technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment and strong operational focus.
  • Strong people manager, bringing the best out of people, knowing how to delegate, when and how to follow up, stimulate initiatives.
  • Result orientation and sense of urgency
  • Able to work as a hands-on manager and meets set deadlines
  • Strong business sense
