TITLE: Adjunct Instructor - Accounting (Pool)

POSITION SUMMARY: Thisposition is responsible for delivering quality instruction in an equitableenvironment.

ESSENTIALJOB FUNCTIONS/TYPICAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Teach courses via on-ground, online, hybrid or web-enhanced delivery modes as assigned.
Work with course leads and/or program coordinators to ensure consistent and equitable student experiences.
Utilize the college's learning management system to provide course materials to students.
Submit updated department syllabus prior to the first day of class.
Regularly check your NSCC email and your departmental mailbox.
Respond to emails/messages within 48 hours except on the weekend.
Complete all required reports such as attendance, Early Alerts, progress reports, grade submissions; administer and return surveys and student outcome assessments by the required deadlines.
Submit final grades for each semester by the deadline established by the registrar.
Comply with all college and TBR policies and guidelines.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSMaster'sDegree with 18 graduate hours in Accounting.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSMaster's Degree in Accounting
Collegiate level teaching experience.
CPA License

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS ANDABILITIES
Knowledge and/or experience using a variety of instructional delivery modes.
Ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with a diverse faculty, staff, and student population.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

PAY RATE
$580.00per credit hour; pay rate increases sequentially with continued service to thecollege up to a maximum of $670 per credit hour.
